Eintracht Dachau-Karlsfeld – Tradition, Passion, Future
The club partnership Eintracht Dachau-Karlsfeld is more than just a handball club. We are a community of people who love handball, develop talent, and believe in a shared vision: developing young players, giving them the best conditions, and supporting them on their journey.
The Bavarian Handball Cup is an integral part of this vision. Here we give our talents the chance to play against the best teams in Europe and grow.
In March 2023, the boards of both clubs met and signed the contract to found the handball club partnership "Eintracht Dachau-Karlsfeld". What started as an emergency partnership in the male youth division quickly developed into a success story.
Both clubs realized: together we are stronger. Together we can offer our talents better conditions. Together we can build something great.
TSV Eintracht Karlsfeld
TSV Eintracht Karlsfeld was founded in 1949 and looks back on a long handball tradition. The handball department was founded as early as 1947 and celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2022. The club has always seen itself as a development club – with the goal of promoting young talent and giving them a sporting home.
The handball players of TSV Eintracht Karlsfeld have built a reputation as a fair-playing, successful club. The 1st youth team even made it into the handball state league – a major success in the club’s history.
TSV Dachau 1865
TSV Dachau 1865 is one of the oldest sports clubs in the region. Founded in 1865, the club looks back on over 150 years of history. The handball department, founded in 1932, has developed over time into one of the strongest in the region. In 1985, the club was among the founding clubs of the newly introduced 2nd Women's Handball Bundesliga and became South German champion.
With around 210 members in the handball department and nine teams in competitive play (including seven youth teams), TSV Dachau 1865 is an important development club for the region.
Respect and Tolerance
We respect our teammates, opponents, referees, and fans. Respect is the foundation for fair interaction – on and off the court.
Responsibility
Our coaches and older players are aware of their role as role models. They embrace this role and show younger players how to play with integrity, diligence, and passion.
Family
We are open to everyone – regardless of religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. Everyone is welcome here. We stand for a friendly, family-like environment where everyone feels safe and accepted.
Helpfulness
We pitch in together. No one has to carry a package that’s too big alone. Everyone contributes as much as they can – and together we achieve great things.
Team Spirit and Fair Play
Handball is a team sport. There are no lone wolves with us. We always play fair and sportsmanlike – because that’s the right way.
The club partnership Eintracht Dachau-Karlsfeld has a clear mission:
We want to inspire children and teenagers to play handball, develop their talents, and take them to the next level.
Specifically, that means:
- Best training conditions: We invest in modern training facilities, qualified coaches, and professional support.
- Individual development: Every player is different. We identify each individual’s strengths and develop them in a targeted way.
- International experience: The Bavarian Handball Cup is an integral part of our player development. Here our talents learn to play against the best teams and grow.
- For every skill level: Whether beginner or aspiring pro – everyone finds the right home and the right challenge with us.
